4th Annual PFOL 5K with 1mile fun run!

Were gearing up for the 4th Annual Pocket Full of Love 5k Run and 1 mile fun run!!  It is exciting to say the least that were in our 4th year!  Sunday, September 20th at 3pm!  More details to come!!!

As usual all the proceeds from the PFOL will go directly to the Families In Need Org at the Elkville Christian Church and will be distributed as needs come in.  Just a reminder the Families In Need Org at Elkville Christian Church is for those who have had a sudden or tragic loss or sudden emergency.  Examples of that include but are not limited to house fires, sudden loss of a loved one from accidents and or sudden emergencies due to illness.  Our organization is specified to these types of tragedies due to the great need for it.

If you are a member of the Elkville Christian Church and or live in any of our local surrounding areas and have a sudden or tragic situation that has caused a financial burden on your family.  Please do not hesitate to call and we can evaluate your issue and do what we can to help you.

In Christs Love…. Kim Buser

Scriptures for our Runners/Walkers

Below are the scriptures that are posted throughout our race route

-The name of the Lord is a strong fortress;
the godly run to him and are safe.  Proverbs 18:10

-But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”  2 Chronicles 15:7

-And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.  Hebrews 12:1

-For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.             Philippians 4:13

In your strength I can crush an army;
with my God I can scale any wall.  2 Samuel 22:30

-Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.                                               2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

-Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

-Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always.  Psalm 105:4

-but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:31

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.  Joshua 1:9
